Hi Zoxers, I’m Lindsey. I know we haven’t met so I thought the perfect opportunity for my introduction would be on the easy subject of Valentine’s Day! Ok, just kidding. Valentine’s Day is probably one of the most controversial holidays but here I am, taking the plunge, asking you to go steady with me. I’m new here on the in-house ZOX team although I’ve been freelancing some ZOX designs with the bros for about 9 months. You know the new “Lead the Way” strap? That’s me! I’m a California girl who’s been drawing and painting since the wee age of zero and I’m sooo excited to be a part of this community. Okay, now that we know each other like salt knows pepper, let’s talk Valentine’s Day. I know, I know. This isn’t everyone’s favorite holiday. You either love it or hate it. Personally, I think it’s overrated. Between the extra-expensive and ironically worse restaurant menus, to the overpriced flower bouquets and cards as well as the general competition of it all, this holiday feels like it has become an out-of-control marriage heading for a messy divorce. Personally, my husband and I have decided not to participate. But if it weren’t for all the craziness, I’d love to do something for him that’s easy yet meaningful.

If we don’t want to fight the dinner crowds or go broke, what can we do to show our love on this special day?
