The VIP Community
I wanted to share my absolute favorite part of ZOX with you: The community.
One thing that's incredible about being an online - based brand is that our reach is global. In fact, ZOX are now collected in over 180 countries around the world.
In 2012, we started a small group on Facebook called ZOX VIP - it was our way of having a more personal touch with everyone who was collecting the pieces we make. The interesting thing about this community, however, is that it grew to be much more personal than that. Over the past 9 years, this community has grown to over 20,000 members from all around the world. While ZOX is the icebreaker that allows them to meet one another, a shared love of kindness, compassion and empathy is what really makes it special. I've seen hundreds of new friendships form from folks all around the world who would never have met one another without ZOX. I've seen countless cases of people going through a hard time having their day's made brighter when care packages from other community members arrive. From penpals to meetups (like the photo above from the last one we did in the Netherlands!), I promise you, this group has earned its nickname of 'the nicest place on the internet.'
I recently asked the members of our VIP group to share what it means to them - here's a few of my favorite responses:
"I’ve found some friends I’ve never have without jumping into Zox VIP. Reading stories, finding a common interest, then talking more by text or messenger has caused those distant people I didn’t know to be part of my inner circle. I reach out to them when I’m struggling, or just want to share something funny. They are there with advice, encouragement, a good joke, or sometimes just good company. Zox has become so much more than just a wristband to me!!!"
