This, my friends, is my favorite hoodie we've ever made. It's so good, in fact, that we brought back individual serial numbers on each garment, meaning each one is unique. With a brand new luxury weight cotton-faced French Terry (that's over 50% heavier than last year's material), a new cut to flatter every body shape even more and our patent-pending Pushpocket®, this is truly the best hoodie we have ever produced.Fabric first:When creating the V3, we started with the fabric. I wanted something that was heavy enough to hold its shape well while, at the same time, not being too hot to wear in a variety of temperatures. To do that, we milled a variety of different fabrics this year, tested them out and finally settled on this perfect blend: A heavyweight, 80% cotton, 20% polyester French Terry with a cotton face to avoid pilling. The V3 ZIP uses a polished nickel plated YKK zippers for a beautiful contrast and includes a stretchy material on the inner pockets that comprise our patent-pending pockets that helps keep things from falling out.How it fits:To improve on last year's design, we made a few changes that work perfectly in conjunction with the fabric. First off, you'll notice the lengths are shortened ever so slightly across all sizes with the trims slimmed and lengthened to provide a more elegant, fitted look. Hidden in the cuff trims are unique thumbholes that almost disappear when not in use. In the body, we've brought it in just a touch and adjusted the shoulders to a standard cut that allows us to keep them more defined. The V3 ZIP Hoodie has an oversized cut with a generous length in the body and sleeves. You’ll notice around .75” more length than your standard hoodies in sizes XS - M and 1.5” more in sizes L and up. This is important to note as if you typically order larger sizes just for length or bust you can easily go down a size and be fine.Note: If you're happy with the fit of your V2 ZOX hoodie from last year, you are safe to go ahead and order the same size again this year. If you have any questions, please view the size guide located in the 'Size Guide' tab on this page. Men: Cuts are true to size so if you normally wear a large you can select a size large here for a slightly oversized look. You can go down one size for a slimmer fit or up one size to have it baggier. Just remember that the ZIP allows the hoodie to be open and it’ll feel slightly larger than the pullover because of that, even though the dimensions are the same. Women: Our hoodie is a unisex cut and the sizing reflects men’s sizes. We recommend you select one size down from your standard women’s size for a comfortable fit and two sizes down for a slimmer fit. For example: If you normally wear a women’s medium, you should select our size small for an oversized fit and and our size XS to be more form fitting. Comfort:For 2021, I had one goal in mind: I wanted to feel good wearing this hoodie. The heavier weight of the fabric just feels luxury, because it is - and it only get's better as you wash it. It maintains it form incredibly well, accentuates in all the right ways and honestly, is just perfect for staying cozy whenever the temperature drops. Like before, construction of the V3 is done using flatlock - the same method found in wetsuits. This construction is incredibly beneficial as it’s more durable and comfortable than the standard overlock stitching found in normal hoodies. It removes all excess material from the inside of the garment at the seams and reinforces them for longevity.
