When I saw this beautiful design with the momma dolphin and her two calves, I couldn't help but think about what we as parents strive to teach kids.
It's become incredibly clear to me recently as I watch and listen to my kids that they are the epitome of little sponges, soaking up everything I say and do, then copying it.
One of the most fascinating things I've realized is that it's incredibly important to teach the future generations how to deal with struggles. And that's hard as a parent, where you can't help but want to guard your kids from all the hard times you went through.
That's why I chose the name Waverider for this design, along with the text on the back. Life is full of waves, both up and down - the thing we have to remember is that the bigger the struggle, the more we improve when it's over. And that, my friend, is my hope for you.
