Keep Going - Ali

Life is challenging, no doubt. These past few years have been met with a lot of grief, and it seems everyone I love is destined to pass away. It's hard to see them go. Loss is as deep as an ocean, and if I stay in one place for too long, I'm bound to encounter the heavy waves that only wish to drown me. The grief is enough to make living without them feel unbearable.
When you lose someone you love, you have to stand back up, dust the sand off, and keep going. It's hard, it hurts, and I see no end in sight to the number of loved ones passing away each year. Still, I have to keep going. I wear my watch daily to remember this.

This story beautifully expresses the deep pain of loss and the strength it takes to carry on. Grief can feel like an endless ocean, with waves of sorrow crashing over you, making it hard to stay afloat. But even in the darkest moments, this person finds the courage to keep going, holding on to the memory of their loved ones. The watch they wear is more than just an accessory—it's a comforting reminder that, no matter how hard life gets, they're still standing. It’s a symbol of resilience and a gentle reminder that they can weather the storm, even when the journey feels unbearably hard.
