Safe Haven

ZOX means safe haven for me. I haven't had an easy life. I was the first born of my parents in the Netherlands. I spent a lot of time with them and was never really alone. Shortly after I turned 3, we packed everything up and moved to Denmark, which was a stressful time for me even though I was young. My parents got a farm and I suddenly had to share their attention with it. Two years later, I got my first sister. At first, I loved it but, I soon realized I would need to be even more alone. At age 7 my parents got a pair of twins, and I found myself with no friends but my dog. I was bullied at school, and at the time, I didn't know I had Aspergers and ADHD. I was diagnosed at age 15 and 18. It changed my life but, I was still alone. Last April I saw an ad for ZOX and it just caught my attention, and soon got my first strap, and joined the ZOX group on Facebook. There I discovered a place where I could be me, and I had something in common with other people, the love for the amazing bracelets. ZOX gave me a safe haven and place to relax and being together with new friends.
