It’s always easier to give up when things get tough. When mistakes are made, it feels like the best solution is to walk away. But, at the end of the day, we usually start something because we want to do it. Yes, some things are given to us as a task we have to finish, but others are born from the joy in our hearts.
Take a new years’ resolution, for example. You know how most of the population wants to hit the gym to work off holiday meals? I doubt 100% of those gym-goers actually continue going after three weeks. So many of them have the goal of toning their muscles, losing weight, or getting back into shape, yet they fall off when things get hard.
When you make a promise to someone, you want to see it through, right? Why don’t we apply the same determination to ourselves? How much more accomplished would we feel if we saw our tasks through to the end? Whatever your goals are this year, I hope this beautiful wristband encourages you to see them through to the end, even when barriers begin to rise. See mistakes as opportunities to learn instead of ways to quit. You can do this.
