Grow Free Wildflower Bracelet
Story
Can I tell you a secret? I was scared out of my mind to move for my (wonderful) job at ZOX. I’d never lived away from my hometown before, had always been hopeful to live in a big city after growing up in a small town, but I was so nervous about how my life would turn out here. I feared not being able to make friends, that I would be alone all the time and sad, and I almost made a bet with myself that I would be homesick within the first two weeks and be on my way back home in no time.
Then, as my moving date approached, I started to realize that I’d outgrown my hometown. Things began to feel different. I’d be driving around with my parents and feel out of place. Slowly, I realized that it was time. It was time to move on to bigger and better things. The timing had lined up so perfectly that I hadn’t even realized when things changed.
Often, we can miss those moments when we’re focusing on the fear of the situation rather than its reality. We’ll let anxiety outshine the exciting possibilities of something new. But, the thing is, we can’t remain stagnant forever. We’re malleable beings, adapting to new situations constantly without being aware of it even happening. Change is so common for us as people that it’s necessary to grow beyond the “mundane” and “comfortable” when we’re not expecting it. And though it’s nerve-wracking, it’s also really good for us. With change comes growth, and with growth comes learning. So, when some big thing comes up that scares you, I hope this single helps you to look it in the eyes, be ready for the challenge, and approach it fearlessly. It’s your time to shine, friend.
Be bold,
Landri
