La frase, “nunca sabemos por lo que alguien está pasando” quedó grabado en mi cuando entendí verdaderamente su significado. En un café, me encontré con una compañera de la preparatoria (hacía años que no la veía) cuando ella me vio, me sorprendió de la manera que me saludo, dándome las gracias con tanta emoción y alegría por una carta que le había escrito hace años atrás. Cuando escribí esa carta, no tenía ni idea que ella estaba pasando por un momento muy difícil, y ese pequeño detalle de amabilidad impactó su vida.
Siendo sincera, ni me acordaba de esa carta pero en ese momento entendí el significado literal de esa frase (nunca sabemos por lo que alguien está pasando) y lo poderoso que puede ser un pequeño detalle de amabilidad. Ser amable es importante, porque nunca sabes el impacto que puedes tener en la vida de alguien. Nuestro deseo es que este diseño de Zox te recuerde, que ser amable es importante (más de lo que nos imaginamos).

When I truly understood the meaning of the phrase, “you never know what someone is going through,” it stuck with me. I understood this when I ran into an old classmate from High School in a coffee shop (it had been years since I’d seen her) and when she saw me, how she greeted me genuinely surprised me. With great emotion and joy, she thanked me for a letter I had written her years back. Unbeknownst to me, when I wrote that letter, I had no idea she was going through a tough time, and this small gesture of kindness impacted her life.
To be honest, I didn’t remember the letter I had written her, but at that moment, I understood the literal significance of the phrase (“you never know what someone might be going through”) and how a small gesture of kindness can be truly powerful. It is important to be kind, as you never truly know the impact it can have on someone’s life. Our wish for you is that this Zox design will serve as a reminder that being kind is important (more so than we imagine).
