One of my wife's favorite things to do is get up early and watch the sunrise over the mountains - she says it gives her this refreshing realization that today is once again brand new.
I've been thinking about that a lot lately.
As someone who just has this go go go spirit inside, my drive tends to define my demeanor. I'm always working on improving, always pushing for more. While that's great in most circumstances, it also tends to cause me to live much more in the future than the now.
But those sunrises with Kara - they have taught me to be present. To appreciate today for what it is, rather than being worried about tomorrow.
That was the inspiration for this beautiful design it's a reminder that we don't get time back. Sadly, that's something you don't usually realize until it's usually too late.
My hope for this ZOX is that it helps you remember that - to be grateful for this exact moment - right here, right now.
