I used to be a major introvert. I used to keep my friend group super small, but the issue with that was that if one friend got into a tiff with another, the whole friend group was in shambles. I eventually had only one close friend near the end of high school, and we didn’t even stay friends through college. 

During my freshman year of college, I realized how important good, solid friendships are. I joined an organization that introduced me to some of my best friends today, and quickly began multiplying my friends each year afterward. I went from having flimsy friendships to having people that felt like family right by my side, and I truly don’t know what I would do without them. 

When you have a good friendship, you don’t have to worry about people leaving you if you make a mistake. Instead, they’ll lift you up when you fall down. Encourage you when your head is clouded by doubt. Walk beside you as you start on a new path. It’s important to value those who you call friends, and I hope this ZOX allows you the perfect opportunity to show those around you how much they mean to you.
