Story

Have you ever seen a baobab tree? It’s a unique tree that looks like a tall succulent, stretching out high above the ground. The thing about baobab trees is that they come from Madagascar and have adapted to the nation’s climate, which is mostly rainy and hot. It’s not a tree that you’ll find in an ordinary garden because it thrives even in the harshest of weather conditions.

Most people only associate beautiful flora with well-maintained gardens or nurseries. Don’t get me wrong, those are incredible, but not every awe-inspiring plant grows under perfect conditions. Some things thrive under pressure, in places where not just anything could survive.

You may not be in a great place in your life right now where you would define yourself as thriving. You may not be where you want to be, but that doesn’t mean that you’re not growing, and it certainly doesn’t mean you’re not doing well. Your surroundings can look different from others, and you can still be doing amazing things. If there’s one thing you take away from this ZOX, I hope it’s that good things can grow in unexpected places.
