Story:

Sometimes life feels a bit overwhelming - things just don't seem to go our way no matter how hard we try. Maybe you're in a relationship where you find yourself constantly wondering if your significant other still cares. Maybe you're going into your job every day wondering if it'll be your last - you don't feel like you deserve any of the responsibilities they're entrusting you with. Maybe you're questioning why you're here in the first place - what your purpose is.

I've been there. The truth is, we all have.

Self-doubt is something that everyone faces, even the ones who seem like they have it all together. In 1978, two doctors documented an unusual occurrence noticed in a test of 150 successful women - it was called the Impostor Phenomenon. What it stated was simple - nearly all of these women had a perception of themselves as intellectual frauds. Even though they were at the top of their fields, they always felt like imposters who were about to be called out. Maya Angelou, Tom Hanks, Michelle Obama - many people you'd never imagine have had the same feelings of inadequacy that you do.

Have Faith, to me, is a reminder to believe in yourself - to remember that you're worth it, no matter what that little voice in the back of your head tries to say. When your mind plays tricks on you and tries to convince us that you're not good enough, my hope is this little hug for your wrist will tell you otherwise. You are perfect exactly as you are - believe it.
