The design on this ZOX is just so beautiful - the sunflowers in the foreground, the lake and mountains behind them, with the sunflower sun, sitting up in the sky.
I thought this piece was very well thought out with its symbolism - the sunflower above influencing the 'little sunflowers' below. This is so relevant for us as we think about what each day we have actually means: It's another chance for us to turn moments into memories.
Let me explain.
I am obsessed with slowing down time with my kids. I don't want them to grow up, and I am cherishing every single second we have together. In this scenario, you could call me the 'big sunflower'.
My kids will bloom depending on how much sun (attention) I give them. More importantly, they end up becoming smaller versions of me, emulating how I talk, think and act.
This is a tremendous responsibility for all of us who lead. Whether it's in our family, at school, at church or even in sports - the way we act is being watched by people who consider you their role model.
Those are big shoes to fill, but such an honor as well. My hope for this design is that it helps you remember that every day is a new opportunity to make an impact - to lead by example and turn each moment into a memory you'll cherish.
