Hold On, Let Me Overthink This SS Bracelet

When Mersadie first started working at ZOX, she brought a binder into the office that had this saying written on the cover.

The first time I saw it, I laughed.

But every time after that, I began to think more and more about what it was actually saying. How many times a day do I over analyze something, how many times do I get into so many 'what-ifs' that I'm completely down a rabbit hole that doesn't even exist?

My role here at ZOX of creating experiences is an interesting one - your decisions are based solely on the feeling they give you. Yes, the artwork has to be great and the grammar must be perfect, but at the end of the day, the only thing that really matters is if it makes you smile. Because chances are good if you get excited when you're creating it, there's a really high probability that someone else will be just as excited when they experience it. 

The same is true when it comes to the things we go through everyday - answers don't always need to always be complex to be right. By learning to trust our hearts, we're able to quiet that little voice in the back of our mind that makes us continue to second-guess everything going on. 

My hope for all of you, with this wonderful little reminder, is that it helps you clear your mind. It's okay to care about doing what's best, just don't let your thoughts take over your days.
