My daughter Luna was over the moon when she saw we finally made a unicorn design. And rightfully so - unicorns are amazing symbols of magic and enchantment, of a dream life filled with magic and wonder.
But one thing I realized after talking with her about it was that so often, that belief in magic disappears with age - it's lost in the daily experiences that fail to excite and inspire us.
So that's why I picked this name. I felt like the perfect reminder, one all of us could use, was a bit of encouragement to get back to our childhood roots and see the magic all around us once again, just waiting to be explored.
My hope, for all of us who get to experience this beautiful piece, is that we never lose that sense of awe and wonder that brings about such a childish joy.
