Ohana - Lanyard
Ohana - Lanyard
Story
When we first started working on Ohana, my daughter Luna had just been born. As Nick and I were going over the card, the idea of family was already heavy on my mind.
The beautiful thing about the Hawaiian word Ohana is that it means all family - both relatives and those we're closest to. For me, that includes each and every one of you. Given the current status of the world around us, I couldn't think of a better message to share. What we need right now, more than anything else, is people loving on one another like a family does. Uplifting and encouraging those who need it most, showing appreciation for one another and just being kind, even when we're anxious about tomorrow.
My hope for this Lanyard is two-fold. First, I hope this reminds you, no matter how alone you might feel right now, that you have a huge family here in this community that loves and cares about you.
Second, I hope you'll use this as a gift for other people who could use the same reminder. While there are a lot of people out there hurting right now, nothing is more powerful than being reminded that you are loved like family.
Love you guys. <3
