When we created our first backpack back in 2016, it had a lot of features that weren't really seen on backpacks before. A Yamamoto neoprene shell, a separate shoe compartment and a way to use your strings as decoration on the straps.
Since that time, we've continued to focus on ultra-functional pieces that stand the test of time while also allowing for maximum personalization. The V2 Imperial backpack utilized our patented zipper roll top design, and introduced interchangeable Tension Straps you could customize to make it special. The V2 also works with our entire ecosystem of Capsules, designed to help you carry everything you need with the greatest of flexibility.
Throughout the years, one comment we continued to get from folks regarding our backpacks is that they wished we made something smaller - a simple bag that would be great for daily carrying. That, my friends, is the reason this bag now exists - because you all asked so nicely.
The V1 mini takes design cues from our original V1 backpack, while combining durability from the V2. Made from 900D Cordura®, the V1 Mini is a small, lightweight and versatile backpack that works perfectly as your daily go-to while still allowing for customization to make it your own.
A feature unique to the V1 Mini allows you to use our interchangeable tension Straps or your ZOX Hoodie Strings as decorations on the shoulder straps of the bag.
The V1 Mini also has expandable mesh pockets on the outside to hold your favorite small water bottle, along with a hidden zipper on the front for maximum organization.
On the inside, you'll find a two layer laptop sleeve, perfect for holding an a laptop up to 15", as well as your favorite notebook. The zipper pocket allows for a great separation, and the clamshell design of the bag makes it easy to find anything you need with ease.
