I couldn't let a Year Of The Snake drop go by without my favorite snake-haired mythological creature of all time - Medusa!
I’ve always thought Medusa is often misunderstood. While most people see her as a villain, I see someone who's been through unimaginable pain and still found the strength to carry on.
Medusa wasn’t born with the power to turn people to stone. She was a beautiful woman, cursed by a god in a moment of cruelty. And yet, through it all, she didn’t break. Instead, she became something even stronger - a symbol of resilience, of taking control of her destiny.
And I think that’s the part of her story we should focus on - how she transformed her circumstances into something that gave her power. It’s easy to let life’s hardships define us, but what I love about her story is how she used everything that happened to her to create something unstoppable.
You, too, have that strength. Your story is unique, and 100% your own. And while life may throw challenges your way, you have the ability to rise, adapt, and slay the day.
