We live in a culture obsessed with speed, with hustle metrics and overnight transformations and people posting their highlight reels at 6am like the rest of us aren't still figuring out breakfast. And it's genuinely exhausting to feel like everyone else is moving faster than you.

Here's what I keep coming back to, though: a sea turtle doesn't rush. It moves through the water with this unhurried, ancient grace and gets exactly where it's going, without apologizing for its pace or comparing itself to the fish darting past. It just moves, steadily, in its own time.

Slow and steady isn't a consolation prize, it's a completely different relationship with progress, one that's sustainable, intentional, and honestly a lot kinder to yourself. The people who go slow often go further, because they don't burn out halfway there. Whatever you're building, growing, healing, or becoming, your pace is valid and you don't have to sprint to deserve the destination.

The same is true for these animals, and the work being done to protect sea turtles is its own kind of slow and steady, patient, committed, and deeply meaningful. We partnered with Mote, a marine research and conservation organization that has been putting in that work for years, and what they've been able to accomplish is something we're really proud to be a part of.

In fact, in previous years:

2,344 sea turtle hatchlings received rehabilitative care at Mote.
860 calls were answered by Mote’s 24 hour hotline for stranded marine animal response.
25 sea turtles were rehabilitated and released.
4,284 sea turtle nestswere documented by Mote scientists and volunteers.
A new Sea Turtle Protection Zone was announced by Mote in Sarasota County to keep turtles safe from unintended boat strikes.

We will be donating a portion of our proceeds for every design sold on our site from our Sea Turtle Collection to Mote, a wonderful organization that's leading the way in marine research and conservation.
