It's hard to not get a bit philosophical when talking about the greatness of space. On one hand, it's a tremendous reminder of all we don't yet know - it's one of the greatest mysteries humankind has ever experienced.
On the other, it's got this way of making us feel like our problems really aren't that important - the things we let upset us really don't matter quite as much as we'd like to believe. In fact, I've heard that many times, astronauts in space who have seen the world from a distance come back with a whole new perspective, one that makes them take pause at all their grievances with the world and instead helps them focus on what's important: Relationships.
My hope for this beautiful piece is that it helps us find that same perspective - that through wearing it, we're reminded that the things we're stressed about today won't be here forever, and we are going to make it through. We just need to focus on what matters - each other.
