Story
I love this design, for so many reasons.
First, obviously it's space related, which is awesome. But even more so is that we have this love of using the distance to the moon as a measurement - 'love you to the moon' is the perfect example of that.
But when creating this, I wanted the design to be a bit more all-encompassing. I wanted it to remind us that whatever we're looking at, we have no limits. The level of greatness that's achievable in any walk of our lives is only limited by our belief in what we can achieve ourselves - something I really reflected on when writing the card for this one:
'There are footprints on the moon, my dear. The sky was never our limit."
I've shared a little secret here before but I think it's worth repeating again - any time I write a card using the term 'my dear' - it's a note to my daughter, something I hope she'll discover some day when she's looking back at all the crazy little words of encouragement her dad wrote. And this one - it gets me right in the heart.
I wrote it to remind her that she has no limits. That she is infinitely loved and cared for, and that she's capable of greatness beyond anything she could imagine.
My hope for this wonderful little hug for your wrist is that it reminds you of the same: The sky was never your limit.
