There's a specific kind of discomfort that comes with not knowing how things are going to turn out, not fear exactly, more like the feeling of standing at the edge of something and not being able to see the other side. And most of us, if we're honest, spend a lot of time trying to solve that feeling rather than just sit with it.
Sea turtles migrate thousands of miles across open ocean with no map, no GPS, no guarantee. They navigate by Earth's magnetic field, an invisible pull that science still doesn't fully understand, and somehow they always find their way home.
There's something profound about that, about the idea that you don't need to see the whole path to trust that you're on it. This one is for the times when clarity feels far away, when you've done the work, made the call, taken the leap, and now you're just in the middle of it, waiting to see where you land. Trusting the journey doesn't mean everything will go perfectly, it means you trust yourself to handle whatever comes next.
And it means something to us that sea turtles are out there doing exactly that, trusting their journey across oceans they've swum for millions of years. We wanted to make sure someone was looking out for them along the way, and that's why we partnered with Mote, a marine research and conservation organization that has been quietly, steadily doing the work to protect these animals. The impact they've had speaks for itself.
In fact, in previous years:
2,344 sea turtle hatchlings received rehabilitative care at Mote.
860 calls were answered by Mote’s 24 hour hotline for stranded marine animal response.
25 sea turtles were rehabilitated and released.
4,284 sea turtle nestswere documented by Mote scientists and volunteers.
A new Sea Turtle Protection Zone was announced by Mote in Sarasota County to keep turtles safe from unintended boat strikes.
We will be donating a portion of our proceeds for every design sold on our site from our Sea Turtle Collection to Mote, a wonderful organization that's leading the way in marine research and conservation.
