Warrior
The diagnosis of cancer for my dad in 2022 flipped our world upside down in an instant. It's a cruel truth that cancer touches nearly everyone's life in some way or another. I learned firsthand that the support system around cancer can feel shaky and uncertain, depending on the type of cancer and whether you're the patient or a caregiver. Yet, amidst the turmoil, I discovered something profound - the instant connection forged with others who understand the depth of your struggle because they've faced similar battles.
These ribbons, with their myriad colors, patterns, and shades, symbolize the diversity of our journeys.
Cancer is a battle that none of us fight alone. It requires an army of warriors - whether they're patients, doctors, nurses, caregivers, or loved ones - to stand together in solidarity against this relentless foe.
Big hugs,
Sarah
