What If It Works Out?

So often, I find we ask ourselves what could go wrong when we're considering something new. We tend to ruminate in this though process, getting to the point where we are basically looking for a reason not to try. 

Turtles, in many cultures, are symbols of resilience. They live longer than most other creatures, with an average lifespan that's estimated to be 50 - 100 years! 

As I thought about that, I couldn't help but think about the chances we don't take - the paths we ignore because we are too busy worrying about what could go wrong. We all want to live a long time because we want to experience as much as we can - my hope for this ZOX is that inspires you to do exactly that.

Sales of this ZOX benefit our friends at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, a wonderful organization that is leading the way in turtle conservation and research. 

In fact, in 2023:

2,344 sea turtle hatchlings received rehabilitative care at Mote.
860 calls were answered by Mote’s 24 hour hotline for stranded marine animal response.
25 sea turtles were rehabilitated and released.
4,284 sea turtle nestswere documented by Mote scientists and volunteers.
A new Sea Turtle Protection Zone was announced by Mote in Sarasota County to keep turtles safe from unintended boat strikes.

 We will be donating a portion of our proceeds for every design sold on our site from our Sea Turtle Collection to Mote, a wonderful organization that's leading the way in marine research and conservation.
